Spent a lot of time this week in quiet reflection, and for the most part it was great. Sometimes I can’t seem to quiet my brain enough to really sit down and get some worthwhile work done. There are often so many things clamoring for my attention that it’s hard to focus on anything important. And I’m not at the point where writing pays the bills. I often feel guilty for taking the time out for it. But it brings me peace and I love it. This week I had fewer distractions and some long expanses of peace which were incredibly beneficial. I focused more on editing and got more writing done than I usually do. It seems like the world we’ve created for ourselves isn’t very conducive to focus and the things that lead to masterful productivity. Stepping outside of this for a little while was a nice experience, and I hope to carry it with me. For those of you who are able to do it all the time, I tip my hat!
If you’d like to check out what I’ve been working on, here’s the latest addition to my novel- Everyday Witches: Chapter Listing.
A murderer is on the loose and our main characters Marge and Jude are making preparations and trying to track them down, and dealing with the shakeup its caused in their world.
