I spent last weekend housesitting/petsitting for someone who turned out to have an entirely witch themed house and let me tell you, it was awesome! Being in the process of writing a novel about witches, it made for the most amazing experience. If you haven’t had the opportunity to immerse yourself in a themed writing getaway I highly recommend it. I just finished this week’s chapter, and in going back to begin the process of editing I was amazed at how well everything turned out while being surrounded by a home with a cauldron on every end table and tapestries with the phases of the moon on every wall. The witchiness came through in this environment in a way I wouldn’t even have expected.
Plus, I am rounding the bend to the homestretch here, having topped 65,000 words. The novel is getting a bit wordy for the bronze age of the Tik Tok ere, but I am trusting that there will still be an avenue for wordy out there by the time I get everything wrapped up. I am super excited with the way everything has come together, way more excited than I deserve to be, with such an infinitesimally small project such as I am working on. But hopefully there will be big things to come in the world of Everyday Witches.
If you haven’t had the chance to check it out yet, the book is laid out by chapter. Come experience a world where witches exist- living, loving, protecting – Everyday Witches: chapter listing
