I’ve had a lot of little gig jobs this week, my day job is petsitting, and I’ve been spending the week so far running to and fro all over town with a little bit of time to spare in between for writing. Having anticipated this, I worked overtime on my chapter last week, leaving mostly editing to do this week. I love the part where I can just sit down and let my story flow, but, let me tell you the editing is not my favorite part. I spend waaaay too much time wondering ‘should that have been- She opened the door, or THEN she opened the door?’ And then I have to just take some time off and go listen to a little bit of music to veg out for a little while.
I was so proud of how last week’s chapter came out that I’m super worried that I won’t be able to work that kind of magic with the chapter I’m on now. I want to create something compelling, thought provoking, and fun to read. Something everybody will like. But I also kind of want to buy myself a sensory deprivation tank and go and live in it so that I won’t have to worry about proper punctuation ever again;
I’ve read some really incredible writing recently and it’s inspired me so much to try to make my own writing something that people will relish with wonder and I hope not to disappoint, but I hope that my story will be something worth reading even if some of the more difficult chapters fail to inspire in the same way.

I hope you enjoy the pics I’ve included of my own pets. I love them to death and needed to do something fun!
If you haven’t had a chance to read the story yet, you can check it out at- Everyday Witches: chapter listing

The latest chapter will be out this weekend! Until then!
